Dust Collector Services We Offer

Filter Replacement Service

Most people think of how dirty a job it is to replace the filters of a dust collector. Once all the old filters are removed the dust collector is swept clean and blown out with compressed air or vacuumed. Extra care then must be taken not to damage the new filters. This is harder than it sounds in a dust collector with sharp edges everywhere that can make holes in a filter very easily. Care must be taken with certain filter types not to bend the fibers or finishes, as this can render them ineffective at filtering or self cleaning. Our crews have extensive experience and training with special tools and techniques required for such work. Safety is a major concern while working inside a dust collector. We have been fortunate to have an excellent safety record while working in this environment. Safty doesn't just happen by accident though. Our managment system, planning, safety training and experienced crews who are aware of and reminded of their surroundings on a job site are the main reasons for a successful record. Even while taking all these precautions we are still able to offer very competitive prices on filter replacement service.

Duct Work Clean Out Service                                         Top Of Page

Ductwork is a very important component in a ventilation system. If the particulate does not have an opportunity to reach the Baghouse, the dust collector will not be able to perform its function. Standard practices suggest a minimum air stream velocity within any duct of 3,500 fpm, and between 4,000 and 4,500 fpm for heavier dusts, such as sand. Should the dust travel at lower than adequate velocities, it will tend to settle and accumulate in the ducts and choke the system. Call us for a quote.
